Trigger Happy

Its been sometime since that Rangers shooting incident happened. Perhaps a bit too long and yes even though some action has been taken - 2 men arrested and in custody it really is deserving of a joke now.

In Pakistan its the easiest thing for the powerful to kill, maim and destroy those who are weaker and less fortunate. Easy because the strong have the might and the might of the law behind them, while the less fortunate are easy targets - numerous, weak-willed and incapable.

So the monster that lives on in men continues to grow and become larger with every bit of injustice meted out. And of course then you have the other side - people like me who try and spread awareness try and pretend that they care, in reality we dont. Its all a peepshow and a farce - an entertainment program designed to awe its viewers and get their "clucks" of sympathy.

To me personally the biggest weakness lies in our much vaunted armed forces - the #army and the #rangers and of course the #police - who can forget the part they played in the #Sialkot incident?
The defenders of this Pak (or na-Pak) country have gone to the dogs or have they? Perhaps its the way a human was designed to wreak absolute havoc on another human. But most vicious animals will also spare their victims the brutality of an attack. They would prefer their prey to lose their life as quickly as possible. The heartless rangers in this case, their entire squad watched while the life was oozing away from this mans body, they watched and watched and watched till he breathed his last.
This is a unique example of how vicious we can turn and become.

Am sure Jinnah did not have this in mind when he was struggling to create the holy motherland - #Pakistan.
